Blondinbella.se: A blog becoming an theater play

Isabella Löwengrip is a talented Swedish teenager. She bloggs about being a young girl and everything in her life. Her blog Blondinbella.se have more readers than many newspapers in Sweden. The blog has now become a brand and she has become a millionaire on blogging (that is well done). This sunday I held a lecture for the Swedish culture elite where I suggested that they create a whole theater act about  Blondinbella.se. Why? Did some ask afterwords and I replayed: Because Isabelle is an interesting phenomena, how could it happen and how could she become so enormous big as an blogger? What does it say about your time? And what will history say about it when we look back in the future?

  1. The fact that the blog is successful doesn’t make her a brilliant mind. In fact one should read the early entries on the blog to figure out that she is just a silly teenager but with a rich father on the back. In fact the father is the person who runs the business and that has registered her company (that’s his main profession by the way). Other than that, there is nothing really creative in the girl except the ones around her managing the business.
There is no phenomena and I am surprised if you are seeing that in this situation. Most likely there is a phenomena in the development or underdevelopment of teenager way of thinking and values. That ought to be a movie, but they are doing so many of those films these days.

  2. Roberto, thanks for your input.
Even if she be lucky to have a rich father, look good and good timing, is the fact still that she is popular and talented. There is other bloggers that have talent and are teenagers. I think it is important the give Blondinbella and other girls their acknowledgment for being a unique phenomena in our presence for the future history (with values, ton of voice and socializing etc.).
