From Hell to Heaven with beer brands

There is an Swedish beer named HELL produced by brewery: Jämtlands Bryggeri.
It is an enormous fun and creasy name. Cant stop thinking about an idea I got to name a new beer HEAVEN. It would be controversy and of course in religious part of the world. But it would be interring. How would the logo look like? How would it taste? Could it be done with respect for religion and be an ticket in for religion to take part in the Hell part of the market (read bars).

About the HELL beer: “Introduced in 1997 as a collaboration with Stockholm Beer Bars Akkurat and Oliver Twist. A München Helles lager brewed with American hops.” Beeradvocate.com

  1. Stefan,

I don’t believe in religion, so I have no problem with drinking a beer called heaven or hell. 😉 Have you tasted it yet?

Could you tell me more about the “bear” (“björnen” in Swedish) called Hell!? 😉

Talking about beer, Roland Horvath wrote a guest post on the Hungarian beer company Dreher’s slogan: “Life is as much as you pour into it.”

  2. Thanks for spotting the bear in the bottle. I know people how tested the beer and they say that it is really good. Thanks for the point. As a dyslectic person you never know what you get in a bar:-)

  3. Heaven beer has existed as long as Hell (or at least 10 years each). They are both made by Jämtlands Bryggeri, and are avialable at all good Systembolaget stores since many years (Heaven is article no 89810). Both beers are strong, full-flavoured brews with lots of of hops and aromas. The difference is that Hell is a pale beer whereas Heaven is a dark lager. Both are extremely well made and have both won “beer of the year” in Sweden.
